knowledge of, and interest in, the culture and history
of the island and the whole of North Wales.

well as being a qualified mountain leader, he also
has a great interest in the industrial heritage of
North Wales, much of which lies on Anglesey and in
the beautiful mountains of Snowdonia.

home in the mountains, he leads groups and individuals
to open up the fascinating story of the 19th century
Welsh slate and copper mining heritage, as well as
the prehistoric settlements and monuments of this
extraordinarily beautiful and stunning landscape.

a professional geologist, Paul has a great knowledge
of the rocks and landscape interpretation in North
Wales. Where he leads field trips to view the complex
and unique geology of the area.

this background, Paul has a unique insight into the
impact of the landscape on the culture and history
of North Wales, which he combines with his with his
archaeological knowledge to provide fascinating tours
of the region.
